Our History:

Our Founder, Robyn Abels, has 15 years as a professional assistance dog trainer for another organization. She also served as the Associate Director and Executive Director. Robyn retired 6 years ago and moved from Scottsdale, Arizona to Prescott Valley in 2020. Robyn and her husband, Mike, are enjoying the cooler weather and smaller town atmosphere. Robyn founded Arizona Assistance Dogs in 2021 and has returned to her passion of training and placing assistance dogs.
